Grapes harvested from dryland 12 year old bush vines planted in sandy loam in Darling. Destemmed an naturally fermented for two weeks whereafter it matured in old French oak barrels for several months on the lees. No fining, only light filtration.
‘Dark ruby with bright rim in the glass. Highly aromatic with blue and red fruits and a charming herbal edge. The palate is full of soft red fruits and dried herbs. Light-bodied (11.0% alc) wine that refreshes the palate with a grip of fruit tannin on the finish.’
